Real Madrid look to sign Kylian Mabappe in a major deal

A saga such as the Kylian Mabappe one is compelling Real Madrid into transfer negotiations.

The French star failed to sign for Los Blancos in 2002 after signing a contract extension with PSG.

Ahead of the 2023/24 season, Real Madrid and MIPA are at a crossroads due to their stronger links with Madrid.

There is no extension clause in Mbappe’s contract, and PSG is prepared to sell him if he does not activate it.

In the event that Mbappe does not modify his position, PSG are willing to sell him for the highest bidder, putting additional pressure on Real Madrid.

In light of their embarrassment in 2022, Real Madrid have tread carefully in their dealings with Mbappe’s representatives, and they expect PSG to make the first move.

In January of 2024, Mbappe was expected to be announced as a free agent after talks had already begun.

Real Madrid may need to raise $200 million by the end of next month if PSG doesn’t bluff about their readiness to sell.

Despite being one of the richest clubs in Europe, the club is willing to start talks, but sales will eventually occur.

Both Fede Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni have been identified as potential departures that could generate half of the Mbappe transfer fee.

As a result of selling either player, the club would be abandoning its long-term plans to rebuild the midfield alongside Jude Bellingham. It has become clear that Real Madrid cannot afford to miss out if PSG raises the stakes. Collateral damage to the long term strategy is the price they are willing to pay to sign the most exciting talent in the world by 2023, according to Real Madrid.
