PSL Franchise Multan Sultans Owner Alamgir Tareen Dies by Suicide in Lahore

 63 year old  PSL franchise Multan Sultans  owner  Alamgir tareen  has committed suicide  and was reportedly found dead in his residence Lahore.

Alamgir Khan Tareen had a distinguished reputation as a prominent businessman in South Punjab. He served as the Managing Director of Shamim and Company (Pvt) Ltd since 1990, which was the authorized bottler and franchisee of PepsiCo for South Punjab. Additionally, he successfully managed one of the country’s largest water purification plants. Mr. Tareen received numerous awards and accolades for his leadership in the business community. He actively participated in the local Rotary Club and contributed to various charitable organizations as a member of their board of directors.

He completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Berkeley, and pursued a master’s degree from Yale University. Being a dedicated sports enthusiast and firm believer in the transformative power of sports in community development, he aspired to establish a robust platform for aspiring athletes, equipping them with top-notch resources to enhance their skills. Mr. Tareen played a pivotal role in advocating a data-driven approach within the franchise. He initiated the Sports Academy, providing mentoring, training, and resources to foster talent and cultivate the next generation of sports stars. Additionally, he spearheaded the development of a cutting-edge sports analytics system, enabling the franchise to make informed decisions. Mr. Tareen’s unwavering commitment to excellence and passion for sports made him an invaluable asset to the organization.
