Haris Khan Appointed Captain to Lead ACC Asia Cup Cricket Team: A Triumph of Sportsmanship
In the upcoming ACC Emerging Asia Cup, Shaheens captain Mohammad Haris has been appointed. The ACC Asia Cup , set to showcase emerging cricketing talent from around the region, will bring together a number of formidable teams from the region to compete for the coveted title of the tournament.
Haris Khan has been selected as the Shaheens’ coach for this important ACC Asia Cup tournament as a result of his exceptional sports skills and leadership qualities. Haris has represented Pakistan in ODIs and T20Is in the past, bringing valuable experience to the team as well as a dynamic attitude to sportsmanship.

It is expected that after the Eid-ul-Azha holidays, they will take part in a week-long training camp before heading to Colombo on July 12.
As part of the group stage draw, Shaheens are placed alongside India ‘A’, Nepal ‘A’, and Sri Lanka ‘A’ in Group ‘A’, while Afghanistan ‘A’, Bangladesh ‘A’, Oman and the United Arab Emirates are included in Group ‘B’.
In each group, the top two teams will advance to the semi-finals, which will culminate in a thrilling final matchup between the two teams.
Shaheens will begin their campaign against Nepal on July 14, followed by India ‘A’ on July 16 and Sri Lanka ‘A’ on July 18.
A number of other international players have also played for Pakistan across several formats as part of the Shaheens squad. Among the team members that will contribute to the team’s quest for glory are Arshad Iqbal (1 T20I), Kamran Ghulam (1 ODI), Mohammad Wasim Junior (2 Tests, 14 ODIs, 27 T20Is), Sahibzada Farhan (3 T20Is), Saim Ayub (8 T20Is), Shahnawaz Dahani (2 ODIs, 11 T20Is) and Tayyab Tahir (3 T20Is).
